Wilde Pedique is a toe nail treatment specifically developed as a corrective and restorative toe nail enhancement. It is ideal for damaged nails caused by sports injuries, trauma or fungus. As long as there is a small amount of nail available, then a new nail can be created.

The nails are made from a high grade plastic material which is extremely flexible and therefore more suited for use on extremely flexible natural toe nail surfaces. This means the material is more suited to growing out on a nail plate which means it will take longer before lifting occurs, and therefore a longer period of time between treatments. The prosthetic nails will need to be replaced every 6 weeks.

Wilde Pedique can be used for the following toe nail problems:

Fungal nails – it is not a cure but it provides an instant new nail for a cosmetic finish. The fungal nail can still be treated with topical or oral anti-fungal treatments.

Nails damaged by trauma – sport can result in the temporary loss of a nail. The application of a prosthetic nail in this case will prevent the sulcus (nail fold) collapsing and will keep the nail bed full, encouraging the new nail to grow into place, minimising the risk of an ingrown toe nail.

Thickeneing of the nails – The application of Wilde Pedique coating, after the nail has been reduced, will seal the surface of the nail and reduce the risk of fungus infiltrating the nail plate.

Corns under the nail – once treated and the nail has been cut back, Wilde Pedique can be applied over the nail plate to provide protection and increase patient comfort.
