Every Foot is Different!

Do you know how many bones there are in the foot? (see the end of the blog for the answer)

The foot is a complicated structure that provides a stable base  to hold us upright and help us move. It is one of the most neglected parts of our body, and no two feet are the same!

Our feet must carry the weight of our bodies for our whole life. We run, jump, walk and climb. We carry heavy weights, too much fat, and wear shoes that don’t always fit properly. We play sports and do jobs that put strain and stress on our feet, and we don’t always wear the correct sports or work footwear for the type of feet we have! Pride is painful!

The shape of our feet can cause problems that can affect ankles, knees, hips and back.
